Jaspers schreef na de bestseller De stikstoffuik het boek De klimaatoptimist. Daarin legt hij uit dat we geen reden hebben om in paniek te raken over klimaatverandering.

Op zondagmiddag 11 oktober komt hij op uitnodiging van Clintel naar Driebergen voor een uitgebreide lezing over extreem weer, klimaatschade, klimaatscenario’s en de politisering van de klimaatwetenschap.
Meeste landen hebben piek in CO2-uitstoot per persoon al gehad
Weinig mensen weten dat de wereldwijde CO2-uitstoot per persoon in 2025 slechts 2,3% boven het niveau van 1979 lag, zegt Roger Pielke Jr. Dit terwijl de welvaart per persoon sterk is gestegen.
Svensmark over kosmische straling, wolken en politiek in de klimaatwetenschap
Tijdens de EIKE-conferentie in Halle (Duitsland) gingen Willie Soon en Ronan Connolly van het CERES-team in gesprek met de onlangs ontslagen Deense natuurkundige Henrik Svensmark over zijn onderzoek naar het verband tussen zonneactiviteit, kosmische straling, wolken en het klimaat. Het door hem voorgestelde mechanisme van kosmische straling verdient het om op zijn fysische merites te worden onderzocht, in plaats van terzijde te worden geschoven omdat het niet past binnen bestaande klimaatmodellen.
