Jaspers schreef na de bestseller De stikstoffuik het boek De klimaatoptimist. Daarin legt hij uit dat we geen reden hebben om in paniek te raken over klimaatverandering.

Er is een stroomoverschot, geen tekort

Maatschappelijk draagvlak voor huidig klimaatbeleid kalft af
Uit nieuw onderzoek van het Sociaal en Cultureel Planbureau blijkt dat het maatschappelijk draagvlak voor het huidige klimaatbeleid afneemt. Volgens Maarten van Andel groeit de onvrede over stijgende energiekosten, netcongestie en kostbare energietransitieplannen. Van Andel spreekt hierover op maandagavond 15 juni tijdens een Clintel-bijeenkomst in Driebergen.
