Jaspers schreef na de bestseller De stikstoffuik het boek De klimaatoptimist. Daarin legt hij uit dat we geen reden hebben om in paniek te raken over klimaatverandering.

Europees energiebeleid: versnellen richting de muur
Wat doe je als je merkt dat je de verkeerde kant op rijdt? In Europa is het antwoord simpel: harder gas geven. De energietransitie moet sneller, ambitieuzer, radicaler. “Jongeren betrekken bij het klimaatrealisme”
Tijdens de recente Heartland-conferentie vond er een speciale sessie plaats met de titel Bringing youth into the climate realist fold. Hoe gaan jongere generaties om met klimaatkwesties en hoe geven ze vorm aan het toekomstige debat? Twee interessante sprekers waren Lucy Biggers, die vroeger met Greta Thunberg omging, en Chris Martz, die wel de ‘Anti-Greta Thunberg’ wordt genoemd.
