Jaspers schreef na de bestseller De stikstoffuik het boek De klimaatoptimist. Daarin legt hij uit dat we geen reden hebben om in paniek te raken over klimaatverandering.

De voormalig wetenschappelijk topadviseur van president Obama pleit voor een eerlijker debat over klimaatwetenschap, onzekerheden en klimaatbeleid.

Bijna alle zonnepanelen die de afgelopen drie jaren in Nederland zijn geïnstalleerd, verdienen de CO2-uitstoot van de productie en installatie niet terug binnen de levensduur en dragen dus in feite bij aan klimaatopwarming, zegt Bert Weteringe.
